ScreenRank (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal screen-time awareness and focus app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, what stays on your device, what (if anything) is shared when you opt in, and the choices you have.

By using ScreenRank, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Our core privacy principle

Your detailed screen time data stays on your device.

ScreenRank uses Apple’s Screen Time technologies to help you understand usage, calculate a score, show insights, and optionally block distracting apps. We do not upload your app names, exact usage durations, browsing history, or raw Screen Time logs to our servers.

The only cloud-synced data is the optional, anonymized leaderboard information described below—and only if you choose to join.

1. Information we process

2.1 Screen Time & Focus data (on-device only)

If you grant Screen Time / Family Controls permission, the App (and its Apple-required extensions) may process on your device:

• App and category usage durations • Usage patterns used to calculate your daily score, streak, rank estimates, insights, heatmaps, and history • Apps or categories you choose to block or limit (Focus features) • Local counters and caches needed for the App and its extensions to work

This information is stored locally on your iPhone (including in an App Group shared between ScreenRank and its extensions). It is not sent to us or to advertisers.

You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time.

2.2 Local preferences & settings (on-device only)

Stored only on your device, including:

• Display name / username you enter in the App • Onboarding and permission status • Appearance (e.g. dark/light), accent theme, and similar preferences • Notification preferences • Daily goals, streaks, and related local progress • Leaderboard opt-in preference and related local caches • Focus/block schedules and selections you configure

These items are not uploaded as part of normal App operation, except as described for the optional leaderboard.

2.3 Anonymous leaderboard data (opt-in only)

Joining the leaderboard is optional. If you opt in and are signed in to iCloud, ScreenRank may upload limited anonymous data to Apple CloudKit so rankings can work:

• A randomly generated anonymous ID (not your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID) • Your usage score / tier (for example Low / Medium / High)—not exact minutes and not app names • Your country/region derived from your device locale (not GPS) • An invite code so friends can find you • A last-updated timestamp • If you create or join a Crew (friend group): group code, group name, owner ID, and member anonymous IDs needed for group rankings
